Technical Assistance Specialist

Kendall is a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) passionate about addressing gaps in services for children and families and ensuring equitable distribution of resources. She approaches her work from a social justice perspective and utilizes a strengths-based, person-in-environment approach to understand organization and community needs to promote trauma-responsive practices.

Kendall has worked with children and families in various settings, including schools, after-school programs, non-profits, hospitals, and shelters. Most recently, she worked with families of children navigating acute and chronic medical conditions requiring extensive support from state and community organizations. Kendall worked closely with parents to address their basic needs, better understand child development, and improve familial relations. In addition to her clinical experience, Kendall has years of experience managing projects, creating trainings and educational materials, and coordinating with external and internal stakeholders.

Kendall is passionate about improving access to resources for marginalized communities and ensuring services are responsive to changing community needs. She strives to strengthen the social safety net to enhance the quality of life for families across the Commonwealth. Kendall earned her master’s degree in social work at Simmons University and her master’s degree in public administration and bachelor’s degree in psychology from Clark University. When she is not working, you will find Kendall at her local bookstore, perusing the shelves with a drink from her favorite coffee shop.
