Training Specialist

Micah brings experience in curriculum development, trauma-informed care, and program management to support meaningful, collaborative work. Micah’s career began in the U.S. Army, where they served as an NCO, conducted funeral honors, and provided critical education on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Following their service, they built a diverse professional portfolio from working in crisis counseling for LGBTQ+ young people to managing communications for a large school district.  
Driven by a desire to think intentionally about meaning-making dimensions of care for the young, Micah returned to academia to earn a Master of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Child Protection Certificate from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Their professional journey reflects a lifelong dedication to empowering individuals and addressing systemic barriers through education and training.
