This topical seminar aims to review the roles and functions of various school-based mental health professionals. In this seminar, we will discuss the different types of specialized training and services school-based mental health personnel provide (school psychologists, school counselors, school social workers, school nurses) and their unique roles in supporting students’ mental, emotional and behavioral well-being.
Topical seminars are offered monthly by UMass School of Psychology graduate students in partnership with the Birch Project.
